- Day 8: Path to Base camp: 4 km, 5 hours. Elevation gain: 500 metres. Level: difficult.
- Day 9: Path to Yaripo summit: 4 km, 7 hours. Elevation gain: 975 metres. Level: very difficult.
- Day 10: Descent to Laje camp: 9 km, 6 hours. Elevation drop: -1,170 metres. Level: difficult.
- Day 11: Descent to Bebedouro Novo camp: 14 km, 8 hours. Elevation drop: -970 metres. Level: moderate.
- Day 12: Path to Irokae camp: 8 km, 6 hours. Elevation drop: -70 metres. Level: moderate.
