Itinerary

08h30: Departure from Barreirinhas by speedboat along the Preguiças River, passing through APA - Small Lençóis, with visits to Vassouras, Mandacaru, and a lunch stop at Caburé or Bar da Hora.
14h00: Arrival at the port of Atins and 4x4 transport to the mouth of the Black River.
16h00: Start of the 7 to 8 km hike to Baixa Grande Oasis.
18h00: Arrival at Baixa Grande Oasis and dinner at 19h00.
Overnight: Hammocks at a local family's house.

05h30: Start of the 12 km hike after breakfast at 05h00.
11h00: Arrival at Queimada dos Britos Oasis, where we will have lunch, dinner, and overnight in hammocks.
Overnight: Hammocks at Queimada dos Britos Oasis.

04h00: Start of the 18 km hike to Santo Amaro after breakfast.
11h00: Arrival at the village of Betânia for lunch, or we continue to Santo Amaro to have lunch in town.
End of the Day: Return to Santo Amaro.

Includes 2 nights in rustic hammocks located in the oases within the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park:
- Night 1 at the Baixa Grande oasis.
- Night 2 at the Queimada dos Britos oasis.

First Day:
- Includes transport and a boat tour along the Preguiças River in a motorised speedboat from Barreirinhas to Atins.
- Transport in a 4x4 vehicle, adapted as an open "jardineira"-style truck, from Atins to the starting point of the trek at Morro da Bandeira.
Last Day:
- Transport in a 4x4 vehicle, adapted as an open "jardineira"-style truck, from the village of Betânia to the town of Santo Amaro.
- Transport from Santo Amaro to São Luís in a shared van, departing at 1 pm and arriving in São Luís from 6 pm onwards.
