For those who prefer public transportation, companies like Real Expresso and Viação Tocantinense offer buses from Palmas to Mateiros, with an estimated travel time of 6 to 7 hours. The town can also be accessed by 4x4 vehicles, recommended for exploring the dirt roads leading to the region's main tourist attractions.
