About

Tania is Italian–Chilean, founder of Saíra Ecotour and our partner in Rio de Janeiro, where she transforms trails into journeys of reconnection with nature and with ourselves.

Having lived in Rio for over four years, she discovered in the Atlantic Forest a passion that became her purpose: creating experiences that reveal a more natural, human and conscious side of the city. With training in tourism and specialisation in natural attractions and rappelling techniques, Tania leads trails with safety, empathy and enthusiasm, combining adrenaline, breathtaking landscapes and personal growth.

Her business was born to promote ecotourism with soul, where every step is an invitation to meet the silence of the forests, the sparkle of viewpoints and the lightness of genuine experiences. Her itineraries cater to all fitness levels and value both challenge and support.

Besides being a guide, Tania stands out as a woman in a sector still dominated by men, and is a reference for courage, sensitivity and professionalism in adventure ecotourism. Her recognition comes not just from the trails, but from travellers’ accounts, who highlight the safety, care and respect with which each tour is conducted.

Together with Discover Brasil, Tania invites each person to discover the Rio that pulses in the forest, in shared effort, in conversations by the trail and in views that remain forever imprinted.

Experience Rio by paths that reveal its essence. Walk with someone who makes nature a home and ecotourism an act of love.

The best view in Rio

The hike to Morro Dois Irmãos is fairly short, but the view from the top is breathtaking. The climb through Vidigal is smooth, and the panoramic view of Rio from the sea to the mountains is absolutely worth it. The guide was punctual, knowledgeable and made the group feel comfortable.
