About this activity

Chapada dos Veadeiros is the setting for this 8-day experience that combines nature, local culture, and sustainable tourism in the Brazilian Cerrado. The journey begins in Brasília and continues into the Veadeiros region. From the start, the itinerary blends organisation, comfort, and direct contact with the landscape.

The first days are spent at Cifrater, where we visit the Cifrater Waterfall and hike up Elephant Hill for wide panoramic views. There’s also a hands-on agroforestry experience. Next, we head to the impressive Couros Waterfalls before arriving in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the main base for the trip.

The journey continues with visits to the Kalunga and Moinho quilombola communities. There, we hike, discover waterfalls, and take part in cultural activities. These encounters highlight local heritage and strengthen community-based tourism.

The experience concludes with exploration of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, where trails reveal the beauty of the preserved Cerrado. We also visit the village of São Jorge and the iconic Valley of the Moon. This complete and memorable itinerary offers nature, culture, and purpose in perfect harmony.
