Arrival in São Luís.
Shared transfer to Barreirinhas (approximately 4 hours by car).
Check-in at the guesthouse in Barreirinhas.

From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm: 4x4 tour across the Grandes Lençóis Maranhenses, visiting the region’s main lagoons.
Lunch in the Lençóis (not included).
Free evening to explore Barreirinhas.

From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm: 4x4 tour exploring the main lagoons in the Santo Amaro region.
Lunch in the Lençóis (not included).
Free evening.

From 10:00 am to 8:00 pm: 4x4 tour through the Lençóis Maranhenses, including a visit to the Atins region and time at the local beach.
Watch the sunset with the spectacular flight of the Scarlet Ibises.
At night, enjoy stargazing under the clear skies of the Lençóis.

From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm: Speedboat tour along the Rio Preguiças, exploring landscapes and riverside communities.

The itinerary includes shared van transportation from São Luís airport to Barreirinhas on the first day and from Barreirinhas to the airport on the last day.
At the end of the trip, the group will be dropped off at the airport and the bus station, and return flights should be booked from 2:00 pm onwards.
All tours include round-trip transportation in a 4x4 "jardineira" vehicle, with pick-up and drop-off at the group’s guesthouse.
A speedboat tour along the Preguiças River is included.

In Barreirinhas, enjoy the rich cuisine of Maranhão, featuring dishes made with fresh fish and seafood, such as shrimp in coconut sauce and moqueca. Popular options also include arroz de cuxá, made with sorrel leaves, and regional desserts like tapioca pudding and cassava cake.
Local restaurants range from homemade-style meals to more sophisticated options, always showcasing the authentic flavours of the region.
