Taquaruçu is located in the mountainous region of Palmas, in an Environmental Protection Area, and is full of valleys and waterfalls.
Viewpoint Trail (easy 8 km trail along the top of the mountain range).
Roncadeira and Escorrega Macaco Waterfalls (easy 3 km trail) or Valley of Vai Quem Quer: swimming (depending on group interest).
Optional activities: abseiling at Roncadeira Waterfall, with a height of 70 metres, and zip-lining in the Taquaruçu valley, the largest in the North region.
This extension has flexible end times, and it is possible to finish earlier due to flight schedules. Taquaruçu is 40 minutes from the airport.
Optional concierge service: overnight stay on the eve or last day of the expedition in Taquaruçu (Palmas mountains) + transfer to Palmas.
