The trek to the top of Mount Roraima is both challenging and rewarding. Along the ascent, you will be treated to spectacular views of Mount Kukenan and starry nights perfect for contemplation. At the summit, the experience deepens with visits to iconic spots such as the Valley of Crystals, El Fosso, the Jacuzzi Pools, La Ventana viewpoint, and Maverick Rock, the mountain’s highest point.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Boa Vista, transfer to the Aipana Hotel, and free afternoon to explore the city, review travel items, and relax.
  • Day 2: Briefing at the Aipana Hotel at 8:30 AM, followed by a journey along the BR-174 to the Venezuelan border. Customs procedures and overnight stay in Santa Elena de Uairén.

  • Day 3: Journey through the Gran Sabana to the Paraitepuy Community. Start of the trek, with camping by the river under a starlit sky.
  • Day 4: Hike to the base of Mount Roraima, with spectacular landscapes and Roraima’s cliff face on the horizon.
  • Day 5: Ascent to the summit of Mount Roraima, passing streams and waterfalls, with a welcome by the “Guardians of the Mountain.”

  • Day 6: Immersion at the summit, with highlights including the Valley of Crystals, Triple Point, and El Fosso. Contemplation of the area’s unique landscapes and energies.
  • Day 7: Visit to Gladys Lake and other iconic spots, such as Maverick Rock and La Ventana Viewpoint, with views of Kukenan and the Gran Sabana.

A place that feels out of this world

Mount Roraima is one of those experiences you never forget. The landscapes are surreal and the days of hiking challenge your body but give so much to your soul. I came back different, lighter and full of gratitude.
